The ferry leaves every hour (or half hour) from Den Helder to the beautiful Wadden Island of Texel. From our campsite you cycle in about a half hour to the embarkation point of the ferry.
.At De Helderse Vallei you will find a nature and environmental education center with a petting zoo, play areas, an outdoor theater, an observation tower and a real barefoot trail!
Callantsoog has a great beach! The sandy beach of the coastal town is clean, wide and kilometers long. Build a sandcastle, spot seals and take a seat at one of the beach pavilions.

At our children's campsite by the seaeven the littlest vacationers will have fun. In addition to all the play and water fun, there is much more to do; take part in the entertainment, come and laugh at the children's theater and discover the sleep train!
✤ What are fun towns near the campground?
On just8 kilometers lies Den Helder; a nice city with several shopping centers, restaurants and during the summer months the Juttersmarkt (beachcomber's market) takes place. In addition, Alkmaar and Texel are also definitely worth a visit!
